Asset Edge, LLC, doing business as Asset Edge (“Asset Edge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of people who visit our website or request a property conversation. This notice explains what information we collect through the public website, why we use it, when we may disclose it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information you provide
When you submit a Request a Property Conversation form, we may collect:
- your first and last name;
- email address and telephone number;
- organization name, if provided;
- target-property ZIP code and property type, if provided;
- your relationship to the property;
- how you heard about Asset Edge and a referrer’s name when applicable;
- the property-operations concern or outcome you describe;
- your consent acknowledgement; and
- the date, time, source, and version associated with the submission.
Please do not submit passwords, access codes, financial-account information, tenant personal information, government identification numbers, health information, or other confidential or sensitive information. The public form does not accept file uploads.
2. Information created through our review
If Asset Edge reviews or follows up on an inquiry, we may create limited business records associated with it, such as:
- duplicate and intake-completeness checks;
- contact and response history;
- requested clarification;
- fit, readiness, and property-operations observations;
- internal decisions and their supporting reasons; and
- the inquiry’s status or disposition.
Submitting an inquiry does not create a client relationship, service agreement, property-management engagement, agency relationship, or authorization for Asset Edge to act for you or the property.
3. Technical information
Our hosting and application systems may record request method, host or requested URL (which can include a query string), status, timestamp, request identifier, IP address, browser or user-agent information, performance data, and sanitized security or error outcomes. Asset Edge does not intentionally place submitted form contents, passwords, authentication tokens, Cookie or Authorization header values, CSRF values, or full exception detail in application logs. Render dashboard logs remain available for the retention period included with Asset Edge’s active workspace plan. Asset Edge does not currently forward these production application logs to a longer-term third-party log stream.
Asset Edge’s current design does not use advertising cookies, behavioral advertising pixels, or analytics profiles. The website may use cookies or similar technologies that are reasonably necessary for security, form integrity, session management, or basic site operation. If Asset Edge later adds analytics or other nonessential tracking, this notice and any required choices will be updated before those tools are activated.
4. How we use information
Asset Edge may use the information described above to:
- receive, review, and respond to your inquiry;
- understand the property and the outcome you would like to improve;
- determine whether a conversation, Operational Health Check, or another next step may be appropriate;
- request missing information;
- maintain accurate business, consent, and decision records;
- identify duplicates, prevent abuse, and protect the website and CRM;
- improve intake questions and Asset Edge’s operating processes using appropriately limited or de-identified information; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Asset Edge, website users, and others.
Information submitted for an inquiry will not be used to enroll you in marketing or text messaging unless Asset Edge later obtains separate, appropriate permission.
5. When we disclose information
Asset Edge does not sell or rent personal information and does not disclose it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Asset Edge may disclose limited information:
- to service providers that support website hosting, databases, security, communications, backup, or technical operations, only as needed to provide those services;
- to professional advisers when reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, insurance, security, or business guidance;
- when required by law, legal process, or a lawful government request;
- when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, misuse, security incidents, or threats to rights or safety; or
- as part of a proposed or completed business transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and lawful handling.
6. Retention
Asset Edge intends to keep inquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, applicable business-record needs, dispute prevention, security, and legal obligations.
For an inquiry that does not become an engagement, Asset Edge’s operating policy is:
- restrict and remove unnecessary working details within approximately 30 days after closure, unless a documented legal, dispute, audit, security, or operational hold applies;
- retain a limited business-memory and duplicate-control record for up to three years after the later of closure or the most recent meaningful direct interaction; and
- at that point, review the record for deletion, de-identification, or documented continued retention.
Internal reviews, reports, or marketing activity do not restart that period. If an inquiry becomes an engagement, records governed by an agreement, professional obligation, accounting requirement, dispute hold, or other legal requirement may follow a different retention period.
These periods are Asset Edge operating rules, not a statement that every law requires those exact periods.
Restriction, deletion, or de-identification in the CRM does not immediately remove recovery copies from provider backups or security logs. Those copies remain access-restricted, are used only for recovery, security, or legal-hold purposes, and expire under the applicable provider retention periods.
7. Security
Asset Edge uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect the information it maintains. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
If Asset Edge determines that a security incident requires notice, it will provide notice as required by applicable law.
8. Your choices and requests
You may contact Asset Edge to:
- ask what contact or inquiry information Asset Edge maintains about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion or de-identification, subject to applicable legal, security, dispute, and business-record requirements;
- withdraw a pending inquiry; or
- state that you do not want marketing communications.
Asset Edge may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. A privacy request does not require Asset Edge to delete information that it is legally permitted or required to retain, but Asset Edge will explain the outcome of the request.
9. Children’s information
The website is intended for adults seeking commercial-property services and is not directed to children under 13. Please do not submit information about a child through the public inquiry form.
10. Third-party websites
The website may link to third-party websites. Their privacy and security practices are governed by their own notices and are not controlled by Asset Edge.
11. Changes to this notice
Asset Edge may update this notice when its practices, services, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated notice will show a revised effective date. Material changes affecting previously collected information will be handled as required by applicable law and the representations made when the information was collected.
